A Letter from Artie Kempner

Friends,

We are gearing up for the 2010 edition of our "Drive for Autism!"

Last year 250 players and guests joined over 50 celebrities from NASCAR, NFL, Major League Baseball, Fox Sports, ESPN, CBS Sports and News and Speed, for an incredible day of fun and fellowship, all for the great cause of raising money for autism research, programs and services. Even in the toughest of economic times, we had a great turnout and raised over $400,000!

This year we've already gotten celebrity commitments from NASCAR stars Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth, Elliott Sadler, Bobby Labonte, Michael Waltrip Kenny Wallace and Daytona 500 Champion, Jamie McMurray! Add Darrell Waltrip to the mix, and you've got 10 Sprint Cup Championships and 8 Daytona 500 Victory Lane appearances.

We'll also have Eagles All-Pro David Akers, plus Jon Runyan, Todd Herremens and some other surprise NFL guests.

The "Drive" has raised over $2.5 million, and we're proud to report that 85% of the money that we've raised has gone directly to our mission of helping people with autism and their families reach their full potential. We now support lifespan services, and our POW&R (Productive Opportunities for Work & Recreation), is serving close to 20 adults with autism now, providing transition services, job training and support, and recreational opportunities.

This event truly makes a difference in people's lives, and we thank you for your continued support, and look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, May 13th!!
